Oh my, where has the time gone, my sweet babygirl is 1!!!! We had a very low key party for her since we are about to have an enormous blowout for Ryan's 3rd birthday party (more details to come). Also, since Darby has pretty much had an ear infection since Christmas (tubes are coming in a week). But, poor thing could not even eat her cake she was so sick. She went to bed at 6:00. Bill's parents were in town and the weekend was a great success, but I had to take the little butter bean to the doctor on Sunday afternoon. We were only able to get one cute pic before she fell asleep on Sat, but I have some other great cake pics.

Yes, that's right, my little girl is getting gutsier with walking. True, crawling is her preferred way of transportation, but she is trying to walk more and more.
Aunt Jill made the cake (blueberry with cream cheese icing) and cupcakes (banana bread, Darby's favorite, with crean cheese icing).

We definitely had a small burning incident, she just couldn't wait for us to get through "Happy Birthday"
This morning she crawled her way up to Ryan's table, sat her happy butt down and started eating Ryan's breakfast. At least someone did! She looks like such a big girl here...

There is something about seeing your baby sit at the table with the other kids that makes them look SOOOO old! Happy Birthday Darby! We love you!
