Well....

Nothing to report! I had another doctor's appointment yesterday and it was not an eventful one! I am not dilated and I am not progressing. She has not dropped and she is still floating around. She is however kicking more than ever, I think she just likes her little Fergadome she is living in and does not want to come out and meet everyone. Also, her heartrate was 169 yesterday, which is what it was when I was 25 weeks pregnant. My doctor said she is just getting really excited about her birthday party. Apparently, there is no cause for concern with her heartrate. He said he could take it again in 30 minutes and it would be back to 130.

Anyways, nothing to report. He did mention a possible date of Monday, March 9th for either inducing or c-section. Heck I do not care, the anxious feeling I have to meet my daughter has taken over. I know I need to spend this time with Bill and treasure our last days with just the two of us but...I want it to be the three of us:) Stay tuned!

Fun Updates

We had our 37 week appointment yesterday and it was quite eventful. I went in expecting it to be another quick one, say your greetings, check my cervix, get a hearbeat, and I will go on my way. Well, my doctor checked my cervix and was pretty confident that she was sitting breech, so he wanted to double check with an ultrasound. Yes, that's right, we had to go back to..."THE ULTRASOUND LADY!!!" The tension in that room was unreal. We were both trying to be so nice to one another, but it was extremely uncomfortable. At one point during the ultrasound Bill asked if it was still a girl in there, because he has been having crazy dreams that we're having a boy, and this was her response, "Oh yeah it better still be a girl after all we went through!" So I guess the question, "Do you remember us/" was unneccessary!!

Anyways, the ultrasound showed that she is not breech, she is sitting head down, ready to go- she just has not dropped. She weighs 7.7 pounds right now and has a full head of hair. My fluid levels are perfect and everything about her is 100% healthy, oh it was so amazing to hear that. The funniest thing about the ultrasound was our precious little girl's big ole' head. Turns out that her head is 39 weeks in size and her body is 37. Bill and I immediately started laughing when we heard this. For those of you who do not know, Bill and I both have abnormally large heads. Bill was in the 98th percentile in head size when he was born and I do not know where I was, but I was up there. So to hear that our daughter is already in the 90 percentile was no shocker!! We do enjoy letting everyone know that she is already taking afer mommy and daddy.

On another note, I had a maternity photo shoot done by Lysha Stanford with Smiles & Such Photography and here are some of the proofs. I love them. Here is her website if you want to check her out, I highly reccommend her!!Smiles and Such Photography

School Shower

I had a fabulous Friday the 13th, which is rare around a school setting. I mean come on February 13th, the day before Valentine's Day, it is bound to be an insane day. But, my precious students threw me a surprise baby shower. I had an idea this was all going to happen, but they really did such a great job of keeping a secret. I told all of them over and over how impressed I was that 105 6th graders kept a secret for a week. I am just so blessed to work with such amazing people and be surrounded by such wonderful students. Here are a few pictures from the day.

The set-up!!

Precious cake, notice the baby sitting on a lily pad.

Showers

The past two weekends I have been given two wonderful showers from my family and friends. I just cannot believe all of the love and support everyone has shown for baby Ryan. She is definitely going to be one styling girl. A nice feature to both showers were the cake. At my Auburn shower, my amazing friend Jill made a strawberry cake (even though she said it is her least favorite cake to make). My Aunt Rosie made my teddy bear cake for my Huntsville shower. They were both just so cute and so dang tsaty. I just wanted to share a few pics. I am a little upset, I did not get a picture with my Auburn hostesses- now that is the true sign of an absent minded pregnant woman.

Jill's amazing strawberry cake!

With the new grandmas!

Ok, so here is the story. Kate has this "lamby" that she CANNOT go to sleep without. So my grandma Shirley wanted to get Ryan one. On Ryan's lamby she had her name put on it, it was precious. Anyways as soon as I opened it Kate said, "I have two!" Well, hate to tell you precious...you still have one lonely lamb.
