St. Patrick's Day

I know this day has come and gone, but when you spend St. Patty's Day in Vegas, you have to talk about it. We woke up early, this being our first big day in Vegas, and headed downstairs. We were greeted when we came downstairs with a Patty Parade. It was actually very pleasant, bag pipes, flags, green from wall to wall- we enjoyed it. As we ventured around Vegas, avoiding the strange men trying to give us stripper cards, we noticed there were already people enjoying a green beverage of their choice (yeah, it was 10 am). We did all of the tourist things and made our way to O'Sheas for lunch. Let me tell ya, there is nothing like sitting down to a nice lunch with your husband in Vegas, while watching 50 people engage in a St. Patrick's Day beer pong tournament. No, Bill and I did not partake- but we would have cleaned house!

After a quick trip to the wax museum. We headed back to New York New York and purchased 6 feet worth of margaritas, 3 feet each. We made our way out to the pool, hung out and watched people drop like flies with green beer at their fingertips. After sun bathing we got ready and headed to Yolos for dinner. It was awesome, Mahi Mahi tacos- perfection! After it all we headed to our first show in Vegas, Stomp Out Loud. It was so great, extremely innovative and fresh. As we headed back to our hotel we could not help but avoid the titilizing bass coming from Coyote Ugly. So we figured, hey we are in Vegas, might as well go for it. Let me tell you...Coyote Ugly is not all it is cracked up to be. Blasting music, 6 dollar beer, and no tables is not my idea of a fun bar experience.
After a long day of Irish filled activities we ended our night with a slice of pizza, there is nothing more romantic than pizza sauce and gatorade at 3 am.
