Vegas Baby

Most people would escape to a quiet retreat for their relaxing spring break if they lead the busy lives Bill and I do. However, we opted to take our busy bottoms to VEGAS BABY! The decision was made on Valentine's Day that we needed to get out of Dodge (Auburn) soon, or we might lose it. So, when Bill got home from work one day I had three different locations pulled up on the computer- New York, Orlando, and Vegas. I told him one of the following locations is where we are going for spring break, and it was his choice. There was little to no hesitation on his part, Vegas was the clear choice.

We went from Sunday March 16th- Thursday March 20th. Some of you may be thinking, that is not a very long vacation. Well, let me tell you, it is plenty long for a trip to Vegas. Bill and I are what I consider to be "tired people," when it is time to be tired. So we usually find our way to bed around 10:00-11:00. Well, we did not escape to our hotel room any earlier than 2 am in Vegas, and even stayed out one night until 4:45. We surprised ourselves!

So needless to say, we did not catch up on missed sleep over these past eight months of marriage; but we did party like rockstars. We tried to wake up every morning around 9, or course I made my way to Starbucks and we just ventured all through Vegas, all day. We were sore when we woke up the second day from walking so much. We went to two shows, ate at some fabulous restaurants, and got to hang out with the high rollers one night. It was a blast, but I think we need to save up before we head back to "Sin City."
